A 15 year old ¾ TB bay mare shows remarkable changes in her feet as a result of changing to a BALANCE saddle
In her owner's words:
For some years previous to meeting the BALANCE team I had noticed the gradual shrinking of one of my mare's front hooves. She was always totally sound, but my farrier, very aware of the situation, sadly concluded that it was an early sign of navicular disease and I was advised to enjoy my horse while I was still able.
In February 1996 my mare and I had our first demonstration from the BALANCE team. Everyone present agreed that my mare appeared to be moving much more freely. I bought a BALANCE saddle. Carol & Lesley of BALANCE, of course, picked up that my mare had uneven feet - they even suggested that riding in a BALANCE saddle may, in time, improve her feet. My farrier was sceptical but monitored the situation.
"Now, fifteen months later, my mare has AN EVEN PAIR OF FEET. There is really no difference between them and she is very happy with her BALANCE saddle."
