I just wanted to say how happy I am. I hope one day I can be a fitter for these saddles
I have had to play about with pads... and actually, I've had to listen to my ponies and feel how the saddle and ride feel and not be afraid to experiment... and you know what.... I LOVE THEM!
I love the flat seats and having the room to move. Both the dressage and GPD put me in a good position. I have room at the front and back of the saddle but I still stay central.... and because of this, I have noticed that actually having a longer seat that goes past the last rib actually means there is LESS pressure under the back of the panel! :)
I had so many slipping issues witb my cob. His saddle slipped to the side and back... his (BALANCE) GPD does not budge... I teamed it up with a humane girth and its great. I was worried my little mares one would come forward... the only time it does this is if she decides to spook and buck... but all saddles move when she bucks.
She moves so much better. Much more forward and doesn't brush behind anywhere near as much. Anyway. I have rambled on long enough. But I just wanted to say how happy I am. I hope one day I can be a fitter for these saddles.
Being able to move in a powerful, balanced and engaged way, without restriction or discomfort, is every horse’s birth-right and essential in order for him to be able to carry the unnatural weight of a rider, without doing harm to himself.
