Available in 12", 13" and 14" seat sizes and in a General Purpose style that works well for small children when they start riding.
These lovely little saddles come with a range of pony and rider friendly features, which include as standard:
- Soft seat leather that feels comfortable from the first ride.
- Adjustable, removable knee blocks.
- 2 well-spaced girth straps on separate webs.
- A flocked panel, with a good gullet width, that helps with saddle stability on these, often times, round ponies.
- Available in a range of pony friendly widths.
- 'Fall Down' Rings, plus a Crupper Ring as standard.
- The Bug is available in either 12", 13" or 14” seat lengths.
- A small strap for the child to hold onto across the front of the saddle, is included in the price.
- Flap length, measured from the stirrup bar to the longest point on the flap = 11 inches.
The saddle is available in TWO standard colours: Beetle Black and Spider Brown but other colours can be ordered for the knee pads and trim. Please contact the office for more information about what is available.
Note* The use of the swinging e bar on these saddles means that BALANCE asks that riders always use some form of safety stirrup when using these saddles. This should be standard practice with junior riders and there are many different designs on the market.
