This pad is a suitable size for the 15" and 16" BALANCE Junior Wren saddles. The shape works for both the GPD and GPJ styles. It is made with the same great features as our full sized Cushion Quilt pads, with a wool-fleece lining for the pony's comfort.

A strip of the loop side of a hook/loop fastening system is sewn along the length of the pad, in order to secure any of the pony sized, BALANCE ‘Add-On’ Pads (JB pads and Remedial Pads).
For ponies with good, well developed backs, the minimum padding that should be used under a Constructively ‘fitted’ BALANCE Pony saddle, is one of these saddle pads and one of the Pony sized JB pads.
For a Pony who has less healthy muscle along the back, a Remedial method of working with a saddle and pads is necessary in order to help them to recover. In this case, the use of the Pony sized Base Pad, on top of the Wool-Fleece Saddle Pad, may be necessary.

Please check with THV Saddling for any colour options that are available. Standard Black and sometimes Brown pads tend to be most easily available from stock.
